Awesome Bed, Awesome Company to deal with! I ordered the complete bed with full size on the bottom and most of the furniture that is part of the set and couldn't be happier. The company was great to deal with and very responsive to any questions that came up. The furniture is nicer in person than expected and very sturdy. I saw some similar beds at local discount furniture stores and they were really flimsy, but not this one. One suggestion would be to purchase an allen wrench or socket rather than use the small tool that comes with the furniture. Had I used the tool, assembly would have taken a long time and been quite painful. With the correct socket, assembly was in under two hours and was able to do 99% of it alone. Only placing the assembled top bunk in place took two people and that took 30 seconds. Would highly recommend this set and this company if you're are looking to purchase this. A+ all around. We were very happy with the quality of the bed when it arrived just one week after we ordered it. Over all a great purchase! We were very happy with the quality of the bed when it arrived just one week after we ordered it. To resolve the problems (there were scratches to various pieces) with the furniture, the company did agree to replace parts, send us a touch up pen for the scratches and give us a 50 credit. Lastly, whomever put on the site that it took 1 1/2 hours to fully assemble the bed (including unpacking the boxes) must either be a carpenter by trade or work for the manufacturing company. There is NO WAY one person could assemble this bed! It took 1 hr just to take the pieces out of the boxes and properly inspect the furniture. It took both my husband and brother (who is very good at assembling furniture) over 3 1/2 hours to assemble the furniture and due to the very poor directions, they had to re-do a few pieces. Another really good bit of advice - especially for those of you like me who have never purchased bunk beds - make certain you buy no thicker than a 6" mattress for the top. I purchased an 11" memory foam mattress for both the top and bottom beds and you can not use anything thicker than a 6" mattress for the top or the child will easily roll over the top rail when sleeping. This did not occur to me at all. NOTE: see the above review to re: the thickness of the mattress - i with i had as i do not think i will be able to return my mattress. It is a solid piece of furniture and my 2 yr old twins LOVE thier new bed. I can hear them now laughing with joy in their room, which they have barely left since it was assembled 3 hours ago. Great bed, even better looking in person I was pleasantly surprised when this bed arrived and looked even prettier in person than it does in the pictures. Good solid wood, nice looking finish, actually a very rich, warm color. We got it with the trundle option. So far everything is great and our boys love it! We got 6" memory foam twin mattresses for the top and the trundle and I was happy to have the extra couple inches of guard rail so I don't worry about my crazy boys that move around a lot in their sleep falling off. The man from Factory Bunkbeds was very helpful and knowledgeable and had recommended the 6" mattress for the trundle since I was planning on using it every day and leaving it made up with blankets and everything.
