Q. What are the Under Bed Options?

A. There are several choices as to how to utilize the space below the bottom bed.

1. No Underbed Options - This will leave an open space under the lower bed for storage or air flow.

2. The Trundle Bed Option - This is basically a giant drawer for a twin size mattress that is on wheels and can be rolled out when you need another space for another person to sleep. Assembly is required and the Trundle Mattress is not included. Your cost is $90 for this option.

3. The 3 Drawer Storage Unit - This unit comes Fully Assembled and it simply slides under the bed once the bed is assembled. The 3 drawers are all working drawers and the inside drawer dimensions are 18.5" w X 15.5" d X 5.5" tall. Your cost is $90 for this option.

4. Two BIG Drawers - Each BIG drawer works independently of each other, and like the trundle is on wheels and roll across the room if needed. Dims are 35.5" w X 17.5" d X 7" tall, assembly is required. Your cost is $140 for this option.

Q. What is the Top Bunk Slat Protector Upgrade?

A. With all bunk beds the person sleeping on the bottom bed has to look at the bottom of the top bunk mattress and support slats. Most slats are either black metal bars or are made from unfinished wood, neither of which match most mattresses. The Slat Protector / Cover will reduce the "eyesore" for the lower bunk sleeper, and also prevent them from being able to grab onto the slats above or even touch the top bunk mattress. The design is clean and simple, and the cover comes in White or Black. It is a reinforced plastic product that covers the area under the slats and mattress making it impossible to grab onto the slats. It also give the bed a cleaner look by concealing the slats and mattress bottom and sheets.

Q. What are the Metal Center Supports?

A. The Metal Center Support(s) is a telescoping metal bar that runs from the Headboard to the Footboard, opposite the Slats that run side rail to side rail parallel to the Headboard and Footboard. By attaching the metal center support to the bed, you are now supporting the mattress with 4 boards instead of only 2 boards. Without the adding the Metal Center Support the top Bed, the max weight recommendation is 200lbs. By adding 1 support you can increase that amount to 250lbs. You can buy 1 support for $29.99 or 2 for $39.99 when you buy your bed. If you purchase 2, we recommend adding 1 to the top bunk and 1 to the bottom bunk.
